| A: | At this time, the Cincinnati Center for Autism is private pay only. Some help is found in ARC through the Family Resource Vouchers. Also, some local community foundations can be of assistance.
As more and more insurance companies provide benefits to their members with children with ASD, CCA will accommodate for those families.

| A: | The Cincinnati Center for Autism is a registered Autism Scholarship Provider through the Ohio Department of Education. Most families enrolled in the Jump Start Preschool Program utilize this resource to cover tuition. |
| A: | Applied Behavior Analysis is a systematic approach to the assessment and evaluation of behavior [including verbal behavior]. ABA also refers to the application of interventions to modify behavior.
A system of reinforcers is used in structured and natural environments to help individuals with ASD to learn new, and socially significant, skills.
Reinforcement driven programming is also used in programs focused on reducing and eliminating disruptive and/ or undesirable behaviors.

| A: | Our programs are supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst [BCBA]. We also have Board Certified Associate Behavior Analysts [BCABAs] in training on staff that help to guide programs and provide training. |
| A: | Our year round staff has a minimum education of a bachelor’s degree. The staff is provided with continuing education by the Certified Behavior Analysts on staff, and by attending trainings regarding the education of children with autism spectrum disorders, and related disorders. |
| A: | The Cincinnati Center for Autism provides a scholarship program to help families to afford CCA services. This scholarship is made possible by the annual Night of the Stars Gala in April, which raised $25,000 for scholarship programs in 2008. |
| A: | The Cincinnati Center for Autism currently does not offer a full day program. Our services may run 2-4 hours in length. |
| A: | The Cincinnati Center for Autism now offers in home consultation services. Our consultants can provide a variety of services, including in- home ABA program supervision, as well as Potty Patrol services. |
